为帮助自费出国留学人员正确选择国外学校 教育部公布33个国家学校名单(新闻稿)
一、基本情况
新加坡的大学和理工学院均属于高等教育机构系列。新加坡政府投资并负责经营的高等学校包括3所大学和5所理工学院。其中3所大学可以颁发学士学位以上（含学士学位）的文凭证书。5所理工学院可以颁发专业教育文凭。这些学校的课程、管理和水平被普遍认可。
新加坡大学的学位设置分为学士学位、硕士学位、博士学位。攻读学士学位一般需要3年，在攻读学士学位阶段学习成绩优秀者可多读1年取得荣誉学位。荣誉学位分等级而设，但它仍属于学士阶段教育。在新加坡攻读硕士学位通常需要1-2年；攻读博士学位通常需要3-5年。
在新加坡理工学院就读，一般是中学毕业学习3年后取得专业教育文凭。

****目前我国驻外使、领馆教育（文化）处（组）对国外教育机构的资质认定，统一使用既包括学校中外文名称、地址、联系方式、建校时间、在校学生数及中国学生数等基本内容，也包括学校性质、办学层次、颁发学历、学位是否得到政府教育主管部门或授权的权威机构认可等核心内容共计11项内容的《国外教育机构资质情况认定表》，通过这个表格比较容易判断国外学校的实际办学情况。
*****关于新加坡私立学校招收中国学生的资格认证 自2004/10/18委托ChinaMOE International Pte Ltd ,似乎 没有开展工作无结果, 只有办理<<在新留学人员登记表》《留学回国人员证明》,回中国教育部留学服务中心（[url]www.cscse.edu.cn[/url]）参加留学人员所获国外学历、学位证书的认证服务。
